Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for producing a metal strand (3) by casting, in particular in a continuous casting mould (2). In order to avoid surface defects in the steel strand (3), caused by slag and other impurities being pressed into the surface by transport and guide rollers or the rollers (4, 5) of rolling stands, suction (6a, 6b, 7a, 7b) is applied to the surface of the partially solidified strand (3) emerging from the continuous casting mould (2). The strand (3) enters the region of the transport rollers and/or guide rollers (4, 5) with a bright surface free from impurities. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Anlage zum Herstellen eines Metallstranges (3) durch Gießen, insbesondere in einer Durchlaufkokille (2). Um Oberflächenfehler im Stahlstrang (3) zu vermeiden, die durch das Eindrücken von Schlacke und anderen Verunreinigungen durch Transport- und Führungsrollen oder Walzgerüstrollen (4,5) entstehen, findet eine Absaugung (6a,6b,7a,7b) an der Oberfläche des aus der Durchlaufkokille (2) austretenden teilerstarrten Stranges (3) statt. Der Strang (3) gelangt mit von Verunreinigungen freier blanker Oberfläche in den Bereich der Transportrollen und/oder Führungsrollen (4,5). <IMAGE>
