Abstract (en)
The ventilating equipment for rolling stock comprises an air supply means (31) for drawing air from the outside of a vehicle into the inside of a vehicle and an exhaust means (40) for exhausting air from the inside of the vehicle to the outside of the vehicle. In order to regulate a change in pressure within the vehicle resulting from a change in pressure outside the vehicle so as not to make passengers feel uncomfortable, in both the air flow passage on the air intake side of the air supply means (31) and the air flow passage on the air exhaust side of the exhaust means (40), damper means (34, 42) are disposed for adjusting the air flow passage areas. A pressure detecting means (43) is provided for detecting the outside air pressure. Further, a controller (44) sending a control command to the damper means (43, 42) is provided so as to adjust the air flow passage area in accordance with a value detected by that pressure detecting means (43) as a control input. <IMAGE>
