[origin: EP0524042A1] The present invention relates to a device for remote actuation of equipment (3) associated with drilling packing (1) by hydraulic displacement means (10; 53, 58) interacting with distribution means (7; 25, 26, 27; 47) associated with the drilling fluid. The displacement means of this device transform the hydraulic energy of the drilling fluid directly into mechanical actuation energy without the interaction of any fluid other than the drilling fluid. The invention also relates to a method of actuation utilising the device. <IMAGE>
