[origin: WO9115866A1] A relay with a closed housing cap (1) on the top has a magnetic system with coil (8), yoke (10) and armature (11) arranged in the upper region of the cap, while a contact system (5, 6, 7) is fastened in the lower region in the vicinity of the connection side of the relay. Each coil connection element (20) for connecting the coil winding is embedded in a side wall of the cap (1) in such a manner that each end of said elements terminates on the top of the cap in a depression (18) open to the exterior. Winding support elements (15) provided on the coil body are inserted in these depressions when the magnetic system is assembled. The ends of the winding support elements (15) and of the coil connection elements (20) can then be connected electrically from the outside by soldering or with conductive adhesive. The connection so formed between the ends of the winding of the coil (8) and corresponding connecting pins (20a) on the underside of the relay is compact but nevertheless insulated from the iron components of the magnet system and from the contact elements.
