A panel element for constructing a sound-absorbing panel has a perforated plate (1) of metal or plastic with holes (2) of 3 to 20 mm in diameter, which are arranged in a square or other regular pattern at intervals of 8 to 30 mm, on which an insulating layer (3) of 5 to 50 mm in thickness of mineral wall or open-cell foam is fastened. To improve the sound absorption, the panel element is provided with dividing walls (4a, 4b) which run transversely to the plane of the panel, cross at the centre point of the panel element and are arranged in such a way that dividing walls of neighbouring panel elements adjoin one another. They divide an absorption space, between 50 and 300 mm deep, lying between the insulating layer (3) and a wall arranged behind the panel element, in absorption chambers of 300 to 1000 mm in diameter. <IMAGE>

Ein Plattenelement zum Aufbau einer Schallabsorptionsplatte weist eine Lochplatte (1) aus Metall oder Kunststoff auf mit Löchern (2) von 3 bis 20 mm Durchmesser, die in quadratischem oder sonst regelmässigem Raster in Abständen von 8 bis 30 mm angeordnet sind, an welcher eine Dämpfungsschicht (3) von 5 bis 50 mm Dicke aus Mineralwolle oder offenporigem Schaumstoff befestigt ist. Zur Verbesserung der Schallabsorption ist das Plattenelement mit quer zur Plattenebene verlaufenden Unterteilungswänden (4a,b) versehen, die sich im Mittelpunkt des Plattenelements kreuzen und so angeordnet sind, dass Unterteilungswände benachbarter Plattenelemente aneinander anschliessen. Sie unterteilen einen zwischen der Dämpfungschicht (3) und einer hinter dem Plattenelement angeordneten Wand liegenden, zwischen 50 und 300 mm tiefen Absorptionsraum in Absorptionskammern von 300 bis 1000 mm Durchmesser. <IMAGE>
