[origin: EP0524636A1] In a hinge (100) for doors, windows and the like, with two hinge parts (10 and 20) connected pivotably to one another by means of hinge parts (11, 21) and a hinge pin (13), the hinge pin (13) passes through recesses (12, 22) of the hinge parts (11, 21). At least one of the hinge parts is provided with a straight guide (30), on which the hinge pin (13) can be displaced perpendicularly to its axis (14) and fixed for the purpose of adjusting the position of the fastening points of the hinge parts (10, 20). The straight guide (30) consists of at least two pairs of parallel guide faces (31, 32; 33, 34) which are spaced from one another in the axial direction (a) of the hinge pin (13) and which are provided on the one hand on the hinge pin and on the other hand, correspondingly with this, on a guiding part which can be fixed to the hinge part (11, 21). This guiding part is simplified in that it consists of a sleeve (41, 42) which is provided with the axis (a) of said guiding part and which can be pushed, together with the hinge pin (13), into the hinge part (11 or 21) and receives the straight guide (30) and the respective region of the hinge pin (13). <IMAGE>
