[origin: EP0524680A1] The invention relates to a parallelopiped paving stone wherein the ratio between the length and the width of said paving stone is at least substantially an integer. Furthermore also the ratio between the length and the thickness is at least substantially an integer, which is not the same as the integer indicating the ratio between the length and the width. In a preferred embodiment the length of said paving stone is +/- 150 mm, the width of said paving stone is +/- 50 mm and the thickness of said paving stone is +/- 75 mm. According to an alternative embodiment the length of said paving stone is +/- 200 mm, the width of said paving stone is +/- 50 mm and the thickness of said paving stone is +/- 66 mm. In an efficient embodiment the paving stone has bevelled edges all around. <IMAGE>
