Abstract (en)
A rotary wrenching tool having an opening for receiving a polygonal head of a threaded member is sized to receive the heads of threaded members that are themselves sized in at least two different nominal sizes such that the ratio of the maximum and minimum of those nominal sizes lies in the range from 1.0053 to 1.1430 for square heads and from 1.0053 to 1.0600 for hexagonal heads, the tool bearing visible markings, preferably adjacent the opening of the tool, identifying said at least two nominal sizes. In a preferred form the visible markings identifying the at least two nominal sizes relate to nominal sizes in at least two different sizing systems, for example in metric, United States Standards or British Standard. <IMAGE>
