Abstract (en)
A strip casting machine including means for feeding molten material from a pool of material through a gap determining the thickness of the strip. So that the chilling of the material can be closely controlled, the machine includes a pair of contra-rotating rolls (10,10) with means for cooling said rolls and for controlling their rotational speed. <IMAGE>
