Abstract (en)

The static mixing element in a flow channel (7) has at least two baffles (30) on mounts (20) at a distance from the wall of the channel. The baffles form an angle W from 10 DEG to 45 DEG with the main flow direction Z. They have different orientations, and the projection FZ of the baffles in the main flow direction is from 5% to 50% of the channel cross section F. As a result, very efficiently cross-mixing cross flows are generated in a simple manner. If dosing tubes (20, 21) are used as mounts, a very effective mixing-in device is produced. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Das statische Mischelement in einem Strömungskanal (7) weist mindestens zwei Leitflächen (30) an Halterungen (20) in einem Abstand von der Kanalwand auf. Die Leitflächen schliessen einen Winkel W von 10° bis 45° zur Hauptströmungsrichtung Z ein. Sie haben unterschiedliche Orientierungen und die Projektion FZ der Leitflächen in Hauptströmungsrichtung beträgt 5 % bis 50 % des Kanalquerschnitts F. Damit werden auf einfache Art sehr effizient quervermischende Kreuzströmungen erzeugt. Mit Dosierrohren (20, 21) als Halterungen entsteht eine sehr wirksame Einmischvorrichtung. <IMAGE>
