Parasol, notamment parasol de grande taille, parasol de jardin, parasol avec support et analogue, comprenant un mât (2), un élément (3) du mât monté mobile avec engagement télescopique dans ce mât (2) et auquel sont articulées les baleines (5) par l'intermédiaire d'une couronne (4), des fourchettes (7) disposées entre un manchon mobile (6) coulissant le long du mât (2) et les baleines (5), ainsi qu'une couverture (21), les déplacements de l'élément mobile (3) du mât et du manchon (6) s'effectuant avec assujettissement, l'élément mobile (3) étant en liaison avec une broche filetée montée à l'intérieur du mât (2), le manchon coulissant (6) étant relié à l'élément mobile (3) au moyen d'un organe de traction flexible guidé par un galet de renvoi, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu, dans le but d'obtenir une forme d'un type pagode, une autre couronne mobile (20) comme couronne supérieure, à laquelle est appliquée la couverture (21) fixée aux extrémités des baleines, et en ce que la couronne supérieure (20) présente des barres de pression (22) ou analogues, dont les extrémités inférieures sont guidées au moyen d'un organe de guidage commun (23) le long de l'élément mobile (3) du mât.
