Abstract (en)
In order to improve the lubrication of valve stem guides (1) of internal combustion engines a relief groove (11) is provided in the valve guide (1), into which exhaust gases from the exhaust port (4) on the one hand and lubricating oil from the upper area (1b) of the valve guide on the other can pass and can then pass by way of a longitudinal duct (13) into the crank chamber. Unrestricted lubrication of the valve stem guide is thereby ensured. <IMAGE>

Zur Verbesserung der Schmierung von Ventilschaftführungen (1) von Verbrennungsmotoren wird eine Entlastungsnut (11) in der Ventilführung (1) vorgesehen, in die einerseits Abgase aus dem Abgaskanal (4) und andererseits Schmieröl aus dem oberen Bereich (1b) der Ventilführung gelangen und über einen Längskanal (13) in den Kurbelraum gelangen kann. Damit ist eine ungehinderte Schmierung der Ventilschaftführung gewährleistet. <IMAGE>
