By means of integrated printers, modern information terminals are able to print out the displayed information as required. The generally restricted space conditions require a compact printing mechanism, the delivery of the printed recording medium taking place towards the operator side. Known designs show little user-friendliness. The invention provides a printing mechanism in which the printer (5) is located after a supply roll (2). Attached to the printer (5) is a cutter device (8) to which a guide duct (9) with a feed device (11) is pivotably attached. To insert a new supply roll (2) and to draw in the web (3) of recording medium through the printer (5), the cutter device (8) and the guide duct (9), the printer/cutter unit (5/8) can be raised via a connecting link guide (16, 17) into a sloping position. By additionally pivoting up the guide duct (9), the printer (5) and the cutter device (8) are freely accessible and the web (3) of recording medium can be drawn in without problems. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung sieht ein Druckwerk vor, bei dem der Drucker (5) hinter einer Vorratsrolle (2) liegt. Auf dem Drucker (5) ist eine Abschneidevorrichtung (8) befestigt, an der ein Führungskanal (9) mit Vorschubeinrichtung (11) schwenkbar befestigt ist. Zum Einsetzen einer neuen Vorratsrolle (2) und zum Einziehen der Aufzeichnungsträgerbahn (3) durch Drucker (5), Abschneidevorrichtung (8) und Führungskanal (9) ist die bauliche Einheit Drucker/Abschneidevorrichtung (5/8) über eine Kulissenführung (16, 17) in eine Schräglage anhebbar. Durch zusätzliches Hochklappen des Führungskanals (9) ist der Drucker (5) und die Abschneidevorrichtung (8) frei zugänglich und ein problemloses Einziehen der Aufzeichnungsträgerbahn (3) möglich. <IMAGE>
