The folding laundry stand with supports (12) for drying knitwear, which comprises two legs (1, 2) and hanging lattices (3, 4) which form a wide-open V relative to one another in the open position of the stand, is characterised in that there are fixed to the outer ends (10, 11) of the lattices (3, 4) the ends of a support (12) for drying knitwear, said support being tensioned between said ends (10, 11) in the open position of the stand. As a result of this measure, a support (12) for drying knitwear, which has larger dimensions than that known in the art, is obtained, and moreover the part of the stand under the hanging lattices (3, 4) is kept free, so that the entire space available can be utilised. <IMAGE>

Der zusammenlegbare Wäscheständer mit Strickwarentrocknerauflage (12), der zwei Beine (1,2) und Aufhängegitter (3,4), die untereinander bei offener Stellung des Ständers ein sehr offenes V bilden, umfasst, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an den äusseren Enden (10,11) der Gitter (3,4) die Enden einer Strickwarentrocknerauflage (12) fixiert sind, die bei offener Stellung des Ständers zwischen den erwähnten Enden (10,11) gespannt wird. Dank dieser Vorkehrung entsteht eine Strickwarentrocknerauflage (12) mit grösseren Dimensionen als jene in der Technik bekannten und ausserdem wird die Partie des Ständers unter den Aufhängegittern (3,4) freigehalten, sodass der ganze zur Verfügung stehende Platz ausgenützt werden kann. <IMAGE>
