[origin: EP0526831A1] A slotted tube having a small diameter is fitted in a tube, especially in an ejection tube in a submarine, in which slotted tube a piston with a driver is moved for ejection by means of air pressure or water pressure. The driver projects through the slot of the built-in slotted tube into the ejection tube and is hence able to eject an object, for example a torpedo, out of the tube. Behind the piston with the driver, the slot is sealed by means of a seal, by the driving air pressure or water pressure. <IMAGE>
