The present invention relates to a method and a machine for overpacking luggage of users of various transport means and, in particular, airline passengers. <??>This machine is characterised in that it comprises means for forming, around each item of luggage (5) moving on a mobile conveyor (8) and during its displacement, a protective envelope (16) made from plastic, while still leaving, in this envelope (16), an opening extending opposite the handle (6) of the item of luggage (5). <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un procédé et une machine de suremballage de bagages des usagers de divers moyens de transport et en particulier de passagers des transports aériens. Cette machine est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend des moyens pour former autour de chaque bagage (5), se déplaçant sur un transporteur mobile (8) et au cours de son déplacement, une enveloppe protectrice (16) en matière plastique, en laissant toutefois, dans cette enveloppe (16), une ouverture s'étendant en regard de la poignée (6) du bagage (5). <IMAGE>
