Abstract (en)
A housing (2) contains a duct (4) in which a fan (14) and a heater (16) are arranged. The duct (4) has a rear air inlet opening (6), which is covered by a rear grid (10), and a front air outlet opening (8) which is covered by a front grid (12). For easier handling of the appliance, the handle (24) is provided on the front side of the housing (2) so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis (26) which lies transversely to the axis of the duct (4). The handle (24) is of flat design so that it can be placed on a base in the pivoted-back state. Arranged on the front side of the housing (2) above the pivot axis (26) are switch elements (48, 50, 52) which facilitate operation of the hot-air drier and observation of the switching state. <IMAGE>

Ein Gehäuse (2) enthält einen Kanal (4), in dem ein Gebläse (14) und eine Heizvorrichtung (16) angeordnet sind. Der Kanal (4) weist eine hintere Lufteintrittsöffnung (6) auf, die von einem hinteren Gitter (10) abgedeckt ist, sowie eine vordere Luftaustrittsöffnung (8), die von einem vorderen Gitter (12) abgedeckt ist. Zur leichteren Handhabung des Gerätes ist ein Handgriff (24) an der Vorderseite des Gehäuses (2) um eine Schwenkachse (26) verschwenkbar angeordnet, die quer zur Achse des Kanals (4) liegt. Der Handgriff (24) ist flach gestaltet, so dass er im zurückgeschwenkten Zustand auf einer Unterlage absetzbar ist. An der Vorderseite des Gehäuses (2) sind über der Schwenkachse (26) Schaltelemente (48,50,52) angeordnet, die ein Bedienen des Heisslufttrockners und ein Beobachten des Schaltzustandes erleichtern. <IMAGE>
