Abstract (en)

An arrangement for controlling inking is described, together with a display device for printing machines, in particular sheet-fed offset printing machines, in which the ink can be fed differently through a multiplicity of remote-controllable adjusting means, in particular zone-wide ink metering elements, transversely to the printing direction. In order always to be able to adapt the inking to the requirement of the present printing process in an optimum manner, an arrangement for controlling inking with a novel possibility of operation is proposed. This possibility of operation consists in the fact that the printer can vary the ink profile of the inking unit, which is currently illustrated on the display device, randomly and at its own discretion - for example temporary increased feeding of ink in particular ink metering zones - and then reproduces the original ink profile, i.e. the starting ink profile, with very little handling effort. Not only the current ink profile which is intentionally varied by the printer is illustrated on the display device, but the latter together with the starting ink profile. <IMAGE>

Beschrieben wird eine Farbsteueranlage nebst Anzeigeeinrichtung für Druckmaschinen, insbesondere Bogenoffsetdruckmaschinen, bei denen die Farbe durch eine Vielzahl von fernbetätigbaren Stellmitteln, insbesondere zonenbreiten Farbdosierelementen quer zur Druckrichtung unterschiedlich zuführbar ist. Um die Farbführung stets optimal an die Notwendigkeit des vorliegenden Druckprozesses anpassen zu können, wird eine Farbsteueranlage mit einer neuartigen Bedienmöglichkeit vorgeschlagen. Diese Bedienmöglichkeit besteht darin, daß der Drucker das Farbprofil des Farbwerkes, welches gerade an der Anzeigeeinrichtung dargestellt wird, beliebig und nach eigenem Ermessen verändern kann - beispielsweise kurzzeitiges verstärktes Zuführen von Farbe in bestimmten Farbdosierzonen - um anschließend mit geringstem Handhabungsaufwand das ursprüngliche Farbprofil, d.h. das Ausgangsfarbprofil wieder herzustellen. Auf der Anzeigeeinrichtung wird nicht nur das derzeitige, vom Drucker bewußt veränderte Farbprofil dargestellt, sondern dieses zusammen mit dem Ausgangsfarbprofil. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
