In a device for checking the quality of printed sheets (5) in a sheet-fed rotary printing machine, having chain-guided gripper beams (8, 10) bearing controllable grippers, a suction box (2) having a flat suction surface (3) facing the sheet (5) is provided above an upper movement path of the grippers in the gap between two spaced-apart processing devices, e.g. a printing unit and a sheet delivery device, through which gripper beams (8, 10) pass. An optoelectronic receiving device is arranged below the suction box (2) and below a lower movement path of the grippers. Said receiving device is connected to a synchronising device.

In einer Vorrichtung zum Qualitätskontrollieren von bedruckten Bogen (5) in einer Bogenrotationsdruckmaschine, mit kettengeführten, steuerbare Greifer tragenden Greiferbalken (8,10) ist im Zwischenraum zwischen zwei beabstandeten, von Greiferbalken (8,10) durchfahrenen Bearbeitungsvorrichtungen z. B. eines Druckwerkes und einer Bogenauslagevorrichtung, oberhalb einer oberen Bewegungsbahn der Greifer ein Saugkasten (2) mit einer dem Bogen (5) zugewandten planen Saugfläche (3) vorgesehen, unterhalb des Saugkastens (2) und unterhalb einer unteren Bewegungsbahn der Greifer ist eine opto / elektronische Aufnahmeeinrichtung angeordnet. Diese Aufnahmeeinrichtung ist mit einer Synchronisiereinrichtung verbunden.
