[origin: EP0527500A1] The invention relates to a refrigerated display cabinet whose refrigerated goods compartment is accessible via at least one glass door, and in which the pane and/or the frame of the glass door and/or the contact profile of the glass door can be heated electrically in order to avoid condensation of water vapour on the inside and outside of the pane. In order to be able to switch the electric heating off during shop closing times, an energy-saving insulation cover is positioned vertically in the refrigerated cabinet between the refrigerated goods compartment and the glass door. A cold-insulating plastic is used as an energy-saving insulation cover. Furthermore, a coating serving for additional cold-insulation can be applied. <IMAGE>
