[origin: EP0527683A1] Induction system for an internal combustion engine (1), comprising a manifold formed from a plenum chamber (2) and a plurality of branches (3) each intended to supply one of the cylinders of the engine, each branch (3) being formed by two pipe elements (3a, 3b) respectively fastened to the plenum chamber (2) and to the cylinder head of the engine (1), characterised in that the facing ends of the pipe elements (3a, 3b) of each of the branches (3) are securely fastened to lateral assembly flanges and in that a flexible seal (4) is interposed between the said flanges, the said seal (4) acting as a filter to prevent the propagation of vibrations from the engine to the manifold. <IMAGE>
