[origin: EP0527699A1] For the drycleaning of textiles and the like, instead of the conventional non-combustible solvents, those based on hydrocarbon are used. However, these are combustible and explosive, and therefore the cleaning machines are made explosion-proof. A vacuum is generated inside the drum. For drying, the drum interior is heated. The air/solvent mixture is subsequently cooled and the condensate is discharged. <IMAGE>
