Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to an apparatus for adjusting the stitch density of an overcast sewing machine, characterised in that it comprises essentially a knob (1) or the like, accessible to the user, if appropriate, and control means (2, 3) which act on the displacement of the eccentric (4) when the knob is rotated, thereby changing the stitch density of the overcast sewing machine. This adjustment device is used in a control device intended for synchronising two overcast sewing machines working in parallel and mirror-symmetrically, particularly on either side of a workpiece, the selvedges of which are to be overcast, and where the adjustment device is controlled automatically as a function of the detection of the deviation of the workpiece in relation to its direction of advance. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de réglage de densité de point d'une surjeteuse caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend essentiellement un bouton (1), ou similaire éventuellement accessible à l'utilisateur et des moyens de commande (2, 3) qui agissent sur le déplacement de l'excentrique (4) lorsque l'on tourne le bouton ce qui modifie la densité de point de la surjeteuse. Ce dispositif de réglage trouve son application dans un dispositif de commande destiné à la synchronisation de deux surjeteuses travaillant en parallèle et en miroir notamment de part et d'autre d'une pièce dont on désire surjeter les lisières et où le dispositif de réglage est commandé automatiquement en fonction de la détection de la déviation de la pièce par rapport à sa direction d'avance. <IMAGE>
