Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0528136A1] What is to be provided is a method for the dyeing of textiles, in which the textiles to be dyed are loaded with a dye liquor containing the dye in highly diluted form, there being provided a plurality of dye magazines (dye containers) which are separated from one another and which are arranged in a region above a dyeing chamber receiving the textiles to be treated, a plurality of textile pieces being treated simultaneously in the dyeing chamber, in the bottom region of which there are feedlines for vapour and for the dye liquor which are equipped with upwardly directed feed holes, by means of which method it is possible to apply to different textiles dye coatings which are graphically designed within wide ranges and, if appropriate, differ sharply from one another, whilst, despite this graphic design, a uniform dye impregnation of the textiles to be treated is to be achieved. For this purpose, according to the invention, the dye liquor is guided through the textiles from the bottom upwards with increased pressure by the use of pressurised transport media.
