[origin: EP0528254A2] The invention relates to a control arrangement for positive-displacement pumps, which comprises a throttle device (20) and a flow-regulating valve (18). The flow-regulating valve (18) having a piston (21) regulates, as the speed of rotation increases, any excess flow not required by passing it to the suction side. The throttle device (20) generates, in a bore section (17A), a speed-dependent dynamic pressure which is responsible for the displacement of the flow-regulating valve (18) and the displacement of the throttle piston (30). According to the invention, the throttle piston (30) encompasses a fixed regulating pin (28) which, in its middle section (34) has, for example, a conical control contour. As the delivery rate rises, the throttle piston (30) increasingly reduces the passage cross section to the consumer, so that an increasing amount of oil is regulated via the flow-regulating piston (21). <IMAGE>
