Abstract (en)
[origin: US5303649A] A two chamber ink container for a short inking unit of an offset rotary printing unit is generally funnel shaped and has an ink reservoir chamber and a feedback chamber. A separating plate divides the ink container into its two chambers. A lower portion of the separating plate defines a flow passage for the ink and doctored-off ink and water back to an ink pump and thence to a chambered doctor blade.
