A high-pressure discharge lamp having a ceramic discharge vessel (8) has a tubular end-lead bushing (10) consisting of a metal whose thermal coefficient of expansion is less than that of the ceramic. Eine Hochdruckentladungslampe mit keramischem Entladungsgefäß (8) besitzt eine rohrförmige Stromdurchführung (10) aus einem Metall, dessen thermischer Ausdehnungskoeffizient kleiner als der der Keramik ist.
