The control apparatus for the pumping station comprises at least one pump driven by a motor, a sensor for the delivery pressure of the pump or for the level of a volume, and a minimum delivery flow rate sensor for the pump capable of triggering the stopping of the motor. The minimum flow rate sensor 12 is of a type which does not give rise to a substantial head loss when the pump is in normal operation and consists, for example, of an oscillating flap 14 submerged in the delivery duct 1 of the pump and connected to a switch 10% for controlling the motor, and capable of causing this motor to stop. Application to controlling the operation of pumps capable of undergoing abrupt variations in flow rate. <IMAGE>

Le dispositif de commande de l'installation de pompage comporte au moins une pompe entraînée par un moteur, un capteur de la pression de refoulement de la pompe ou du niveau d'une capacité et un capteur de débit minimal de refoulement de la pompe susceptible de déclencher l'arrêt du moteur. Le capteur de débit minimal 12 est d'un type ne provoquant pas de perte de charge sensible lorsque la pompe est en service normal et est constituée, par exemple par une palette oscillante 14, immergée dans la conduite de refoulement 1 de la pompe et reliée à un interrupteur 10' de commande du moteur susceptible de provoquer l'arrêt de ce moteur. Application à la commande de la marche des pompes susceptibles de subir des variations brutales de débit. <IMAGE>
