Abstract (en)
The equipment, intended to be used at low altitude, comprises a face mask (10) fitted with an atmospheric gas supply comprising a filter (22), a fan (24) for compensating for the pressure drop due to the filter, and a hose (12), as well as a self-contained electrical supply source for the fan, supplying a nominal voltage V0. The electric motor (34) of the fan (24) is provided so as to supply under the nominal voltage V0 an air flow rate greater than that necessary for the wearer at rest, and very much less than the flow rate required in the case of abnormal activity. The equipment furthermore comprises a pressure sensor (36) piloting a temporary increase in the voltage supplied to the motor (34) of the fan when the overpressure existing in the equipment with respect to ambient pressure is less than a specified value. <IMAGE>

L'équipement, destiné à être utilisé à basse altitude, comprend un couvre-face (10) muni d'une alimentation en gaz atmosphérique comprenant un filtre (22), un ventilateur (24) de compensation de la perte de charge due au filtre et un conduit souple (12) ainsi qu'une source électrique autonome d'alimentation du ventilateur, fournissant une tension nominale V0. Le moteur électrique (34) du ventilateur (24) est prévu de façon à fournir sous sa tension nominale V0 un débit d'air supérieur à celui nécessaire au porteur au repos et très inférieur au débit requis en cas d'activité anormale. L'équipement comprend de plus un capteur de pression (36) commandant une augmentation temporaire de la tension appliquée au moteur (34) du ventilateur lorsque la surpression qui règne dans l'équipement par rapport à l'ambiance est inférieure à une valeur déterminée. <IMAGE>
