In order to improve a joining piece (10), with the features mentioned in the introduction, in such a manner that it is better suited to larger frame cross-sections and is at the same time suitable in a simple manner for greater extraction loads of its metal body (12), it is designed in such a manner that the screw thread of the metal body (12) is arranged in a bottom plate which bears against a connecting wall which closes the hollow joining piece (10) on the section-member side except for a passage opening for the screw connection part, and that the metal body (12) is of tubular design from the bottom plate and its tubular walls support the walls of the joining piece (10). <IMAGE>
