[origin: JPH0691191A] PURPOSE: To secure the max. throughput in a fixed time and to produce a narrow grain-sized granular body in a stirring type ball mill having a compact structure. CONSTITUTION: The mill provided with a cylindrical rotatable barrel 1 having a rotatable stirring shaft 2 provided with a stirring means 3 is rotated in at least 25% filling degree at supercritical rotatory speed while retaining balls in the barrel 1. As a result, the max. throughput in a fixed time is attained and a product in a grain sized range is produced without enlarging the structure.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Rührwerkskugelmühle, die einen vorzugsweise zylindrischen, drehbaren, mit einem Einlaß (11) an seinem einen und einem Auslaß (18,19) an seinem anderen Ende versehenen Mahlbehälter (1) aufweist, in welchem eine mit Rührorganen (3) versehene Rührwerkswelle (2) drehbar ist. Dieses Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mühle bei überkritischer Drehzahl mit einem Füllungsgrad von mindestens 25 % betrieben wird, wobei die Mahlkörper in der Mühle zurückgehalten werden. Hierdurch wird eine große Durchsatzleistung bei kleinem Raumbedarf und engem Kornspektrum im Feingut erreicht. <IMAGE>
