Abstract (en)
This locating system, using ultra high frequency electromagnetic waves, for a moving element, comprises a hollow tube (1) forming a waveguide, means (2) for supplying this waveguide with ultra high frequency waves, a locating beacon (3) radiating into free space an electromagnetic wave obtained from the ultra high frequency waves, and an antenna (5), called the locating antenna, integral with the said moving element and capable of receiving the electromagnetic wave radiated by the said beacon, the said locating beacon being such that it allows transmission between this beacon and the said antenna of a single electric field signal allowing transmission of a locating message. <IMAGE>

Ce système de localisation, par ondes électromagnétiques hyperfréquences, d'un élément mobile, comporte un tube creux (1) formant guide d'ondes, des moyens (2) d'alimentation de ce guide d'ondes en ondes hyperfréquences, une balise (3) de localisation rayonnant dans l'espace libre une onde électromagnétique obtenue à partir de l'onde hyperfréquences et une antenne (5) dite de localisation, solidaire dudit élément mobile et apte à recevoir l'onde électromagnétique rayonnée par ladite balise, ladite balise de localisation étant telle qu'elle permette la transmission entre cette balise et ladite antenne d'un seul signal de champ électrique permettant la transmission d'un message de localisation. <IMAGE>
