[origin: EP0529592A1] A drive-in ground socket with angular parts (2) which meet to form a point on the base-side and are welded together along the apex lines, and with a plate (5) covering the upper ends of the angular parts (2). The technical problem is how to adapt the drive-in ground socket so that it can directly accept the T-posts (9) of fences or the like. The plate (5) has a T-cutout to receive T-posts (9) and a wall section (8) is shaped so as to be concave in relation to the apex line (3) at the upper end of each angular part (1). <IMAGE>
