Benzisothiazoles of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which the group RO- is in one of the positions of the benzene ring and R denotes a plain or halogenated hydrocarbon radical, which is aliphatic or cycloaliphatic, saturated or unsaturated, are active ingredients in plant protection agents. They can be used for combating nematodes which are parasitic to plants.

Benzisothiazole der allgemeinen Formel I <IMAGE> worin die Gruppe RO- in einer der Positionen des Benzolrings steht und R einen reinen oder halogenierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest bedeutet, der aliphatisch oder cycloaliphatisch, gesättigt oder ungesättigt ist, stellen Wirkstoffe in Pflanzenschutzmitteln dar. Sie lassen sich zur Bekämpfung von pflanzenparasitären Nematoden einsetzen.
