[origin: WO9118392A1] When a CD-player is switched on, the light beam of an optical scanning device is at first focussed on the CD, before the speed of rotation of the disk is set at the set speed of rotation by means of a synchronizing signal recorded on the disk. In order to shorten the interval between switching on and sound playback, when the machine is switched on, the momentary position of the optical scanning device is immediately sensed and the speed of rotation of the disk is set at the value corresponding to that position, while the light beam is at the same time focussed on the disk. When the light beam is focussed, a synchronizing signal recorded on the disk serves to regulate the speed of rotation. Since focussing and acceleration of the speed of rotation from zero to the set speed of rotation no longer follow each other, but happen simultaneously, the annoying waiting time between switching on and sound playback is essentially shortened.

Lors de la mise en circuit d'un lecteur de disque compact, le faisceau lumineux d'un dispositif d'exploration optique est tout d'abord focalisé sur le disque compact, avant que la vitesse de rotation du disque soit réglée à une valeur de consigne, par l'intermédiaire d'un signal de synchronisation enregistré sur le disque. Afin de réduire le temps de mise en circuit jusqu'à la reproduction sonore, la position instantanée du dispositif d'exploration optique est détectée immédiatement à l'enclenchement de l'appareil, et la vitesse de rotation du disque est réglée à la valeur correspondant à cette position, cependant qu'en même temps, le faisceau lumineux est focalisé sur le disque. Lorsque le faisceau lumineux est focalisé, un signal de synchronisation enregistré sur le disque sert au réglage de la vitesse de rotation. Du fait que la focalisation et l'augmentation de la vitesse de rotation varient, non plus successivement, de la valeur zéro à la valeur de consigne, mais simultanément, le temps d'attente indésirable entre l'enclenchement et la reproduction sonore est notablement réduit.
