Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH05211017A] PURPOSE: To rapidly open a contact by arranging a series-connection valve between a pressurized medium sump and a return valve, and controlling the return valve to connect a drive cylinder to an outflow space of the pressurized medium. CONSTITUTION: A connection valve (v) is opened, the medium flows from a sump (r) into a hole (x) of a return valve (s), and a valve disk (w) is guided to an outlet (u). An edge of the valve disk (w) seals the opening (u) with the pressure in the hole (x). The medium is led to a chamber (a) of a cylinder (c) through pipes b1 , b2 , and a piston (t) is gradually displaced because a rod (d) of a chamber (o) reduces the flowing section. The piston is displaced at the constant speed after releasing, a movable contact e1 is displaced and a spring (g) is loaded. Finally, the piston (t) and the contact e1 are locked by the electromagnetic force of a coil (m), and the contacts e1 , e2 are engaged with each other by the contact force p1 . The gap (f) diffuses the medium to weaken the collision of the contacts. The valve (v) is closed after the contact is locked. The medium pressure in the hole (x) is rapidly reduced, and the periphery of the valve disk (w) is opened to allow the rapid flow. To open the contact, the electromagnetic valve (m) is de-biased and the piston (t) and the contact e1 are moved to OFF position by the spring force. The rod (d) enters the chamber (o) to reduce the passage at the final stage of the piston stroke.
