Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0530610A2] The invention relates to a package for items packed in containers, in which a plurality of containers arranged in a row are grouped together by a wrapping wrapped around them to form a carrying unit which is accommodated in a transport case which is provided in its interior with columns which are fixed to its bottom, which taper towards the top, and which enclose positions between them for one container in each case. The object of the invention is to design the package of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that it is suitable for such carrying units of preferably cylindrical containers which are held together by a shrink film as wrapping. The invention consists in that the wrapping of the containers consists of shrink film, and in that the columns arranged in the case have a broad cross-section in the direction of the rows, but a narrow cross-section transversely to the rows, said cross-section being formed by two mutually facing circular segments which terminate in a fin at their connection point. <IMAGE>
