[origin: FR2680114A1] The plant is of the type with a double column (2) and a mixing column (6). The latter is fed in the tank with auxiliary air compressed to a pressure differing from that of the intermediate-pressure column (3) and at the head with liquid drawn off at the bottom of the low-pressure column (4) and pumped at the same pressure as the auxiliary air. Impure oxygen is drawn off at the head of the mixing column as output gas, and nearly pure oxygen is produced in the tank of the low-pressure column. <IMAGE>
