The present invention relates to a seat for working in a standing position, comprising a support (1) fixed at the upper end of a pole (2) which is inclined from the bottom to the top and from the rear to the front of the seat, characterised in that the said pole (2) is connected, via its lower end, to the central part of a horizontal underframe (3) in the shape of an arc, open towards the front of the said seat so that the vertical projection of the said support (1) is located right on or behind the virtual line joining the two ends of this same arc. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un siège destiné au travail debout, comportant une assise (1) fixée à l'extrémité supérieure d'une colonne (2) inclinée de bas en haut et d'arrière en avant du siège, caractérisé en ce que ladite colonne (2) est reliée, par son extrémité inférieure, à la partie centrale d'un piètement (3) horizontal en forme d'arc, ouvert vers l'avant dudit siège de manière à ce que l'aplomb de ladite assise (1) soit située juste au niveau ou en arrière de la ligne virtuelle joignant les deux extrémités de ce même arc. <IMAGE>
