[origin: EP0531227A1] Kitchen work surface (1), especially for domestic use, comprising at least one cutout (3, 4, 5), in which a heating element (6, 7, 8) can be arranged, which is constituted by a heating source (9) comprising an external insulating envelope (11) and surmounted by a plate (10) made of glass-ceramic glass which rests, in the region of its circumferential rim (14), in an angle (15) made of insulating material.
