Abstract (en)

[origin: DE4015214A1] The gate of the invention comprises two guideways (2, 2') arranged on the opposite sides (3, 3') of the gate aperture (1) and strip cladding (12) with strips (14) arranged on hinge frames (20, 20') spaced in such a way that the hinge pins (24, 24') engage inside a space (34) between adjacent strips (14).

[origin: DE4015214A1] Two guide tracks (2) are fitted on opposing sides of the gate opening, and a plate armouring (12) covers the gate opening in the closed position. Hinge strips are used which comprises hinge components connected articulately to one another. The hinge components can be angled in relation to one another via pins. The strips are supported and guided in the guide tracks (2). The armouring plates (14) are located on the hinge components, and between them a space is formed in which the hinge pins engage. Sealing fillets are arranged over the total gate width between the hinge strips, and join opposing sides of adjacent plates (14).
