Hinge strips are used which comprises hinge components connected articulately to one another. The hinge components can be angled in relation to one another via pins. The strips are supported and guided in the guide tracks (2). The armouring plates (14) are located on the hinge components, and between them a space is formed in which the hinge pins engage. Sealing fillets are arranged over the total gate width between the hinge strips, and join opposing sides of adjacent plates (14).
