[origin: EP0531629A1] A mould (11) as the upper mould or lower mould of a roof tile press is provided. This consists of a pressure-rigid frame (12), a female die plate (13) which spans the frame opening and has a shaping surface and a maximum compressive load resistance which is less than the compressive force, and of a pressure-resistant stiffener (14) on the plate underside, which stiffener (14) is joined to the frame.
