Abstract (en)

The invention relates to an attachment of the leading edge of a printing plate of a printing machine, having a clamping device which essentially has two flat clamping surfaces extending perpendicular to the cylinder radius. Such an attachment of the leading edge of a printing plate is to be designed in such a way that attachment of the leading edge of the printing plate is possible without substantial deformation. This is achieved in that the radius (2) of the outer surface (5) of the plate cylinder in the region (15) of the insertion opening (14) for inserting the printing plate (4) is smaller than the cylinder radius (1), and in that said radius (2) is at least of such a size that, by the clamping of a commercially available printing plate (4), no permanent deformation thereof can occur. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Plattenvorderkantenbefestigung für Druckplatten einer Druckmaschine mit einer Klemmeinrichtung, die im wesentlichen zwei rechtwinklig zum Zylinderradius verlaufende ebene Klemmfläche aufweist. Eine solche Plattenvorderkantenbefestigung soll derart ausgestaltet werden, daß eine Befestigung der Druckplattenvorderkante ohne wesentliche Verformung möglich ist. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß der Radius (2) der Mantelfläche (5) des Plattenzylinders im Bereich (15) Einführungsöffnung (14) zum Einführen der Druckplatte (14) kleiner ist als der Zylinderradius (1) und daß dieser Radius (2) mindestens so groß ist, daß durch das Spannen einer handelsüblichen Druckplatte (4) keine bleibende Verformung derselben auftreten kann. <IMAGE>
