[origin: EP0531791A2] In adjustments of control elements, displaceable between two limit positions, by way of electronically controlled stepping motors, an emergency operation is necessary, it being possible to manually set the control element to a predetermined position inside the limit positions. This is achieved according to the invention in that the rotor shaft (19) of the stepping motor (3) has a toothing (29), which can be brought into engagement with a pinion (31) of an adjusting shaft (33) supported in the stepping motor housing (17) against the force of a compression spring (35), and that the adjusting shaft (33) has a manual adjusting element manually adjustable and rotatable from outside the stepping motor housing (17). <IMAGE>
