The invention relates to an electrical switching device which is provided especially for use in motor vehicles and is equipped with at least one single-pole changeover contact point having two fixed-position stationary contact pieces (58, 59) insulated from one another and with a moving contact piece (56) which can be operated against the restoring force of a spring, by the application of force, and at the same time makes contact with one of the stationary contact pieces. Furthermore, the switching device (10) has a base (12) on which the contact point is arranged, as well as a housing (14) which covers the contact arrangement and into which an operating element is inserted. This operating element is a slide (16) which interacts during operation with a pressure piece (24, 26) which deflects the movement of the slide and in consequence acts on the moving contact piece. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein elektrisches Schaltgerät, das insbesondere für den Einsatz in Kraftfahrzeugen vorgesehen ist und wenigstens eine einpolige Wechselkontaktstelle mit zwei ortsfesten, gegeneinander isolierten Festkontaktstücken (58, 59) sowie einem beweglichen Kontaktstück (56) ausgestattet ist, welches gegen die Rückstellkraft einer Feder durch Druckbeaufschlagung betätigbar ist und dabei eines der Festkontaktstücke kontaktiert. Ferner besitzt das Schaltgerät (10) einen Sockel (12), auf welchem die Kontaktstelle angeordnet ist sowie ein die Kontaktanordnung abdeckendes Gehäuse (14) in welches ein Betätigungselement eingesetzt ist. Dieses Betätigungselement ist ein Schieber (16), der bei Betätigung mit einem Druckstück (24, 26) zusammenarbeitet, welches die Bewegung des Schiebers umlenkt und hierdurch das bewegliche Kontaktstück beaufschlagt. <IMAGE>
