Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0532057A2] The invention relates to a dust bag (7) which can be used in electrical vacuum cleaners by means of a nozzle connection (V) and which has a bottom plate (17) which possesses two side-edge gripping orifices (28) and which is covered with foam in the region of a junction orifice (20) of the nozzle connection (V), and the surface shape of which corresponds approximately to the cross-section of a vacuum-cleaner chamber nozzle and to the underside of which the dust-bag wall is adhesively bonded in such a way that the dust-bag wall merges via a folding edge (K) into the side wall, the folding edge (K) intersecting the gripping orifices (28) approximately centrally and there projecting beyond it two projections, adjacent to the gripping orifices (28), for resting the bottom plate (17) on an edge step (18) of the chamber nozzle (12), between which projections a tongue (32a) is located on the narrow side of the bottom plate (17), and proposes, to achieve a design which is advantageous in terms of construction and allocation, that the projections likewise be shaped as tongues (32b, 32c) and form projections of this folding edge (K) which extend from the folding edge (K) in an angularly symmetrical arrangement relative to the junction orifice (20), and that the edge of a freely projecting annular zone (20a) of the foam covering (Sch) forms a free junction orifice (20). <IMAGE>
