Abstract (en)
The invention relates to ink-jet printing machines consisting of juxtaposed printing modules. According to the invention, in each printing module the means (33) for generating the ink jets, the means (32) for deflecting the ink drops and the means (34) for recovering the undeflected drops are carried by a one-piece body (29) arranged on one face of a supporting beam (28); the opposite face of the said beam (28) carries ink supply means (86, 111) and a reservoir (62) for recovering the unused ink coming from the recovery means (34) and from the generating means (33). Moreover, the means (33) for deflecting the ink drops are mounted pivotably in order to insert them between the means (33) for generating the jets and the means (34) for recovering the drops in the event of printing or to disengage them in the event of maintenance. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne les appareils d'impression à jets d'encre constitués de modules d'impression juxtaposés. L'invention réside dans le fait que, dans chaque module d'impression, les moyens de génération (33) des jets d'encre, les moyens de déflexion (32) des gouttes d'encre et les moyens de récupération (34) des gouttes non déviées sont portés par un corps monobloc (29) disposé sur une face d'une poutre (28) de support; la face opposée de ladite poutre (28) porte des moyens d'alimentation en encre (86, 111) et un réservoir de récupération (62) de l'encre non utilisée provenant des moyens de récupération (34) et des moyens de génération (33). En outre, les moyens de déflexion (33) des gouttes d'encre sont montés de manière pivotante pour les intercaler entre les moyens de génération (33) des jets et les moyens de récupération des gouttes (34) en cas d'impression ou de les désengager en cas d'entretien. <IMAGE>
