[origin: WO9119342A1] The process disclosed concerns the testing of devices, as described in DE 37 09 532 A1, in which the precision of the test result depends on the fact that sine functions are evaluated. In many cases, this is not readily possible. In order, in a process for testing devices, to be able to determine whether the test result has been affected by disturbance variables superimposed on the parameters evaluated, an output value (u) from the device under test is evaluated not only with a type 1 filter (4), but also with a type 3 filter (9). In addition, an output value (i) from the device under test which is evaluated with a type 1 filter (7) and with a type 2 filter (8) is also evaluated with a type 4 filter (10), the amplitude/frequency responses of the filters (4, 7, 8, 9, 10) being chosen so that the value of the amplitude/frequency response of the type 1 filter (7) divided by that of the type 2 filter (8) is equal to the value of the amplitude/frequency response of the type 4 filter (10) divided by that of the type 3 filter (9).
