Abstract (en)
Coated stainless steel is produced by forming a chromate layer on a stainless steel strip and coating the strip with a transparent color resin composition. The chromate layer has a total chromium content of 0.5 to 50 mg/m<2>, with trivalent chromium occupying at least 60% by weight of the total chromium content and amounting up to 40 mg/m<2>.
