[origin: EP0532784A1] A device for unloading bobbins from bobbin-conveying elements and for shifting the bobbins into positions suitable for the further treatment of the bobbins is characterised by a transfer station (4) for transferring the bobbins (3) from the bobbin-conveying elements (2) onto an endless conveyor apparatus formed by two conveyor belts (15) which run at a distance from one another and between which is movable up and down a lifting table (20) which is rotatable about a vertical axis and which is followed in the conveying direction of the two conveyor belts (15) by a shifting unit (22) engaging between the two conveyor belts and rotatable about a horizontal axis, in order to shift the bobbins, supported on the two conveyor belts along generatrices, in such a way that they are deposited again with one of their two end faces on the conveyor belts or on a suitable repository. <IMAGE>
